I recently stumbled upon this photo from the MoMA in New York:

This brilliant piece of pastry is from the museum cafe, and pictures Piet Mondrian’s famous Composition in Blue, Yellow, and Red (1930), yet another reason for me to drool over the possibility of visiting the museum.  Other reasons being:





















Yeah, $8 is pretty freakin expensive for a piece of cake (especially if it really was baked in 1930!!), but props to whoever designed this, it really makes me smile!

Let’s face it, De Stijl looks De Licious.  Maybe even better if it had some Jackson Pollack chocolate drizzling on top!!  (And….end bad puns.  Sorry, it had to be done.)
